The next Summer in the City dates will be announced shortly.  Submit your contact details for information in the next program!

About the Program

Come enjoy the best of both worlds as NFIL expands our Summer in the City program to Westchester! Over the course of two weeks, students will come together as a team to work on social, executive functioning, independent living, travel, and stress management skills. Students will take part in morning skill-building lessons in Pleasantville and then head out to explore and apply those skills with their peers. Daily activities will include train and subway trips to a mix of the best that Westchester County and New York City have to offer! A day hike in the woods, an afternoon at an amusement park, cooking classes, mindfulness workshops, exploring a local nature center, and trips to famous New York museums and landmarks are some of the cultural activities planned. Step outside and challenge yourself this summer in a supportive and engaging atmosphere!
