What's Happening to School?
The shift to a virtual learning model has presented challenges for both students and parents.
Some of these include:
Parents feel their children fell behind at the end of the school year due to the sudden shift in virtual learning.
They're concerned about their children beginning a new school year without a sufficient academic foundation or the prior knowledge necessary to be successful.
Although it may provide students with exposure to the curriculum, an online learning model may not necessarily provide students with the experience of diving deep into academic material. It can limit students' opportunities to ask questions, engage in a dialogue, and/or gather clarifying information.
New Frontiers can help.
We facilitate your child's learning using the school curriculum either virtually or from the safety of your own home.
We provide students with the live social interactions necessary to experience the curriculum with the goal of real mastery.
We provide guided practice and corrective feedback to move students toward mastery and independence.
